The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) has congratulated His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, on the celebration of his 30th anniversary on the throne.

In a congratulatory message released in Ilorin on Tuesday, the organisation described the Emir’s three decades of leadership as “a remarkable milestone” that reflects his “enduring leadership, wisdom, and commitment to peace and progress in Ilorin Emirate and beyond.”

The statement signed by BBYDI’s Executive Director, Nurah Jimoh Sanni, commended the royal father for being a unifying figure whose reign has brought peace and stability to the Emirate and Kwara State at large.

“His Royal Highness has been a beacon of stability and a supporter of development initiatives across Kwara State,” Jimoh Sanni said. “His moral guidance and deep commitment to justice continue to inspire generations, particularly in promoting education, tolerance, and community harmony.”

The organisation further appreciated the Emir’s support for its various advocacy and development programs, especially in youth empowerment, good governance, and the fight against gender based violence.

According to BBYDI, the Emir’s public endorsement of its campaigns has encouraged more community participation and fostered collaboration with traditional and religious institutions.

“We are profoundly grateful for His Royal Highness’s continued support for our work,” Jimoh Sanni added. “His advocacy for education, women’s empowerment, and moral integrity has reinforced our collective mission to create a society where every individual can thrive.”

The statement noted that under the Emir’s leadership, Ilorin has remained a symbol of peace and inclusiveness, aligning with BBYDI’s vision of building sustainable communities.

“As the Emir marks this anniversary, BBYDI celebrates the longevity of his reign and the depth of his service,” the organisation stated, adding that his contributions to education, cultural preservation, and interfaith dialogue have left an enduring legacy.

BBYDI joined the people of Ilorin Emirate and Nigerians in praying for the Emir’s continued health, wisdom, and prosperous reign.

The message was signed by Sanni Alausa Issa, Communications Director, Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI).
