The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled a new venue for its National Convention scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
In a statement shared on the party’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, the ADC said the event will now hold at the Rainbow Event Center, located in Area 8, Garki, Abuja.
The party provided further details, noting that the venue is situated at Plot 1193A, off Southern Parkway, behind the FCDA/AGIS building and close to the NTA headquarters in Area 11.
The change in venue follows reports that authorities in the Federal Capital Territory declined the party’s request to use prominent locations such as the Eagle Square and the Moshood Abiola National Stadium for the convention.
Despite the setback, the ADC said preparations are on course for the gathering, which is expected to draw party members and stakeholders from across the country.
