Robert Lewandowski has confirmed he will leave FC Barcelona at the end of the season, bringing his four-year spell with the Spanish champions to an end.

The Polish striker announced his decision in an emotional farewell message shared on social media, revealing that his contract with the Catalan club will expire this summer and he has decided not to continue.

Lewandowski described his time at Barcelona as a successful chapter, saying he is leaving with a sense of fulfillment after helping the club reclaim domestic dominance.

According to the veteran forward, his “mission is complete” after four seasons in Spain, during which he won three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, and three Spanish Super Cups.

In his farewell message, the former FC Bayern Munich star thanked Barcelona supporters for the love shown to him since his arrival in 2022.

He also expressed appreciation to club president Joan Laporta for giving him the opportunity to join the club, describing his time at the Camp Nou as one of the most memorable periods of his career.

Lewandowski added that Catalonia would always hold a special place in his heart, noting that he would never forget the people he met during his stay.

His final appearance at the iconic Spotify Camp Nou is expected to come on Sunday when Barcelona face Real Betis in their last home game of the season, making the encounter an emotional send-off for the striker and the club’s fans.
