The National Youth Service Corps has announced Thursday, May 21, 2026, as the official date for the passing-out of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members.
The scheme made this known in a statement issued on Monday by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, and shared via its official X (formerly Twitter) platform.
According to the statement, activities leading up to the passing-out parade will begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. These will include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, alongside the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
The NYSC noted that the ceremony would be low-key, with Certificates of National Service to be distributed to eligible corps members across all local government areas in the country.
The Director-General of the scheme, Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful completion of their service year.
He also encouraged them to uphold the values of the scheme and remain good ambassadors of the NYSC as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
The passing-out marks the conclusion of the mandatory one-year national service for members of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II, who were deployed across Nigeria last year.
