Big Brother Naija winner Whitemoney has appealed to Nigerians hoping to join the reality show’s 11th edition to stop asking him for help in securing a place in the house.
The former housemate said his social media inbox has been flooded with messages from people pleading with him to influence their selection for the upcoming season of the popular reality show.
In a video message shared online, Whitemoney explained that he has no authority or special influence over the selection process and cannot guarantee anyone a slot in the competition.
He advised aspiring contestants to go through the official audition process instead of trying to find shortcuts or relying on personal connections.
According to him, many people may be eager to join the show because of the fame and opportunities it offers, especially amid the current economic challenges, but the only legitimate path is to audition and wait for selection.
Whitemoney also shared his personal experience, revealing that he auditioned four times before he was eventually chosen for the show, encouraging applicants not to give up if they are not selected on their first attempt.
He further warned hopeful contestants against scammers who may promise guaranteed admission into the Big Brother house in exchange for money, stressing that no one can sell access to the show and urging people to remain cautious.
