Chelsea winger, Jadon Sancho has said that it was a “real honour” to play with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United, insisting it was an “inspiration” for him.

Sancho played 37 times at United with Ronaldo across the two seasons which is 2021-22 and 2022-23 and the former Manchester United winger has now hailed the impact Ronaldo had on him.

The Englishman was asked to list some of his best team-mates, and was quick to mention the Portugal international Superstar

However, Ronaldo and Sancho are now former player at Old Trafford as they both have issues with Erik ten Hag which leads to each of their respective exits.

Ronaldo saw his contract mutually terminated after an explosive interview in which he criticised the coach and the club, while Sancho was exiled before he joined Chelsea on loan.

Sancho while granting interview with Sky Sports said: “I’ve played with a lot of great players but, if I had to choose one, it was Cristiano Ronaldo. What he talks about in his interviews is all true, to play with him was a real honour. His mentality, how he trained and how he went into games was really inspirational.”
