MultiChoice has announced a price increase for its DStv and GOtv packages, set to take effect from March 1, 2025. The announcement was made through a statement issued to customers on Monday.

The statement, titled “Price Adjustments for DStv and GOtv Packages,” read: “Dear Customer, please be informed that starting March 1, 2025, there will be an adjustment in the prices of all DStv packages. This change is necessary to allow us to continue providing our customers with world-class local and international content, delivered using the best technology.”

This price revision comes nearly a year after the company’s last review. As part of the new changes, the DStv Compact bouquet will increase from N15,700 to N19,000, Compact Plus will rise to N30,000, and the Premium package will cost N44,500.

For GOtv customers, the subscription for the regular package will increase from N3,600 to N3,900, while GOtv Plus will rise from N4,850 to N5,800. The GOtv Max package will now cost N8,500, while the Supa package will rise to N11,400, and Supa Plus will be priced at N16,800.

MultiChoice explained that the price hike is driven by rising operational costs in Nigeria, citing the depreciation of the naira and high inflation, which have contributed to increased business expenses.
