The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree’s pioneer alumni association has taken a significant step towards organizing its affairs with the election of its pioneer executive members.
The association, comprising the first set of National Diploma (ND) students admitted in the 1992/1993 academic session and Higher National Diploma (HND) students admitted during the 1995/1996 academic session, conducted its election on February 28, 2025.
The elected executive members of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree First Set Alumni Association are: Hon. Funmiso Babarinde as President, Mrs. Gbemi Ishola Lai-Folorunso as Vice President, Morakinyo Obatuase as Secretary, Adebowale Osobu as Assistant General Secretary, Olukayode Ayinde as Public Relations Officer, Oladapo Dada as Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Oguntunde Boladale as Welfare/Social Secretary, and Professor Yinka Falore as Regional Ambassador.
The election was supervised by Mr. Gbenga Orioke and his electoral committee. The newly elected executives will run the affairs of the association for the next two years, in line with the association’s constitution.
However, the association has sought the support of all members to take the association and the institution to the next level.
