All seem to be set for the coronation of the 47th Olojudo of Ido-Osun, Oba Olayinka Ishola Jokotola 11 as the ancient has been in celebratory mood since the activities began on Thursday.
According to a statement by the Chairman of the Publicity Committee of the event, Olusanjo Fajobi, the community is set to welcome an array of guests including Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and many others to the coronation ceremony.
“Other important guests expected include former military administrator of Osun State, Col. Theophilus Bamigboye, House of Representatives member, Bamidele Salam, among others.
“The Arole Oodua and Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is elected to lead an array of traditional rulers across length and breadth of the country to the event,” Fajobi said.
He added the coronation, slated for Aje International Market, Ido-Osun, will also witness the conferment of chieftaincy title on Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni.
Final of the coronation football tournament was held on Thursday while conferment of chieftaincy titles and special jumat service were held on Friday, all in preparation for the grand day.
