Several people have been reported dead in a gas explosion that rocked a shop along Kachia road in Sabon Tasha, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna.
The cause of the gas explosion is not yet known at the time of filing this report, but the sound from the explosion attracted people within and outside Sabon Tasha to the scene.
It was reported that the ship where the gas explosion occurred went up into flames and the level of casualty has not been ascertained.
Police personnel have however condoned off the scene to avoid looting of property. Meanwhile, vehicles have been directed to follow a different route to avoid further disaster.
