As the ancient town of Iloko-Ijesha gets a new Owaloko, the Chairman of Akosile Progressive Vanguard, Engr Olufemi Akosile has congratulated the new monarch, Oba Akeem Ogungbangbe and the people of the community.
Engr Akosile in a statement he personally signed on Thursday, said the era of uncertainty in the community is over, stating that the enthronement of Oba Ogungbangbe has proven to be the light at the end of tunnel.
The House of Representatives Aspirant commended Governor Gboyega Oyetola for listening to the yearnings of the people of the community.
Akosile wished the monarch a successful reign.
He said, “On behalf of AKOSILE TEAM 2023, I congratulate Prince Akeem Ogungbangbe on his appointment as the new Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa by our dear Governor, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.
“I wish him a glorious reign on the throne of his father. May his time bring unquantifiable peace and development to the Iloko-Ijesa community.
“I equally congratulate all sons and daughters of Iloko-Ijesa for this long awaited victory.”
