A frontline aspirant for the Ede North, Ede South, Ejigbo and Egbedore Federal Constituency Hon David Ayodele Asalu, has congratulated Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on his emergence as the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the July 16 governorship election in Osun state.
In a statement he personally signed on Wednesday, Hon Asalu said the resounding victory of Senator Adeleke at the primary was a further attestation of the confidence of delegates and majority of party members in his capacity to deliver victory for PDP in the upcoming governorship poll.
“Yesterday, delegates of our party exercised their democratic rights and resoundingly elect to have Senator Adeleke as the flagbearer of our great Party, PDP, in the July 16 governorship election,” Hon Asalu said in a congratulatory message.
“For this resounding victory, I wholeheartedly congratulate Senator Adeleke and share with him the joy of the moment. As we can tell from the wild excitement of party members across Osun to the news of emergence of Senator Adeleke, I can confidently say that the PDP is right on track.
“I also congratulate the entire membership of PDP in Osun for this brave decision of delegates as it reflects that truly, it is prepared to dislodge APC from power in the state.
