The Director-General of Tinubu-Shettima Ambassadors (TSA), Prince Oyelude Oladele has said that the only offence of the former Governor of Lagos State and the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to some aggrieved Nigerians was his unalloyed support for President Muhammadu Buhari in 2014/2015.
In his latest press release obtained by InsightMedia in Abuja on Wednesday, Oyelude advises President Muhammadu Buhari to visit Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and inquire how Obasanjo handover power to late President Musa Yar’adua in 2007 who was his conservative successor, added that Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan is still regretting relinquishing power to the opposition party.
According to him, “approaching some aggrieved Nigerians to know the offence of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I got to know that his ultimate support for President Muhammadu Buhari to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2014/2015 by dethroning a seating President of a conservative government was his only offence.
“It would be recalled that Buhari lost when he contested for president in the years 2003 and 2007 with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Umaru Yar’Adua respectively through the platform of the All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP), he ran for the same post in 2011 with Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on the platform of CPC and was defeated.
“He however won the 2015 presidential election after some political gladiators among whom were Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu merged with some political parties to form APC in 2014.
“However, I enjoined President Buhari to reciprocate what Tinubu did for him (Buhari) before he won the election, Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress APC in general need more support from Buhari to shame those who regard Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their enemy because of Buhari.
“President Muhammadu Buhari need to visit Ex President Obasanjo to know how he (OBJ) cooked 24,638,063 votes for Late President Umaru Yar’adua and dishout 6,605,299 votes for Buhari in year 2007.
“Such political inquisition from Obasanjo will open Buhari’s eyes to know how the ‘winning votes’ of over 24million given to Yar’adua in year 2007 reduced to Buhar’s ‘winning votes’ of 15,424,921 in 2015 which shows a difference of over 9million votes in 8years as if Nigeria mortality rates was twice her natality rates within 2007-2015.
“In Nigeria politics, a predecessor who fail to install his successor will surely have himself to blame, its not a gain saying, Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan is regretting relinquishing power to the opposition party. The PDP members are not happy with Goodluck Jonathan till date because he failed to install his conservative successor.
“If General Olusegun Obasanjo could raise the dead just to get over 24million votes to install President Musa Yar’adua as his conservative successor in year 2007, I must appeal to General Muhammadu Buhari to reciprocate the progressives goodwill that was extended to him in 2015 and install Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his progressive successor in 2023.”
