The Lagos State Police Command has said nothing would be left to chance in securing the state against alleged imminent terrorist attacks on Lagos border communities.

One Deyemi Saka had claimed that terrorists were planning to attack parts of the state, including LASU-Iyana Iba, Mile 12 – Ikorodu, Iyana Ipaja, Sango/Toll gate, Maza Maza, Fun Park at Alausa, Shoprite in Ikeja, Third Mainland Bridge, Police College, Alausa, Maryland Shopping Complex, local wings of Murtala International Airport and others.

He also said terrorists were targeting some churches.

Reacting, the Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin tagged the report as mere speculation but promised that the police were always ready to avert any crisis.
