
Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has finally responds to the Premier League title race after storming out of TV interview following draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Mikel Arteta’s team are among the Premier League title challengers but they endured another frustrating outing against Manchester United on Sunday as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
United Captain, Bruno Fernandes takes the lead at the stroke of half-time, but Declan Rice’s sensational strike in second-half sealed a point for the Gunners. David Raya’s safe pair of hands bailed Arsenal out and allow them to remain on draw till 90 minutes, if not Manchester United would have won the game.
After the frustrating match, Sky Sports journalist Patrick Davison made an interview with Arteta on the title race, as the North London outfit are now 15 points behind league leaders Liverpool. The question miffed the Spaniard as he furiously walked out of the TV interview. Arteta, however, responded to the same question in his post-match press conference.
Speaking to reporters, Arsenal boss said: “I don’t want to say that [the title race is over], but today’s frustration is that we are unable to won our game. We know the urgency, and you’re obligated to win every single match. You won’t have any chance of doing that, I don’t think it’s the right moment to talk about that.”
Mikel Arteta and Co will be back in action this Wednesday as they take on PSV in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 fixture
