The Osun State chairman-elect of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun, has commisserated with the former deputy governor of the state, Senator Iyiola Ajani Omisore, over the death of his father, Oba David Olajide Omisore, Omigbade 1, the Olu of Aiyepe Olode.
Famodun in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo yesterday stated that the passing on of the monarch was a great loss to the entire Omisore family and the people of Aiyepe Olode.
The state party chairman hinted that Oba Omisore joined his ancestors when his wealth of experience was highly needed to nurture the lingering developmental projects in his community.
He enjoined the chief mourner to have consolation in the fact that his father, by all standards, lived a fulfilled life for him to have attained his monarchical status with successful children in various fields of the nation’s endeavours.
Famodun disclosed that he was sure and convinced that the Senator Omisore’s deceased father would be taken a deserving eternal rest in the bosom of God based on the encomiums being poured on him and attestation of his various good deeds in life since his demise.
The Igbajo-born prince who pleaded with the former deputy governor to take heart reminded him that it has been Biblically decreed for all mortals to die while it’s the time, place and how that is beyond the knowledge of any human being.
In Famodun’s words: “My dear Senator Iyiola Omisore, kindly accept my most-heartfelt condolences on the demise of your father, Oba David Olajide Omisore, the Olu of Aiyepe Olode in Ife South Local Government Council Area of Osun State, on behalf of my family, the APC members and leaders in our state.
“It is my fervent prayer for God to repose the soul of the departed and grant you, the children and family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the APC state chairman prayed.
Famodun stated further that: “Your father had lived a fulfilled life and his memory shall linger on in the minds of the people.
“God is the only utmost determinant of the continuous existence of human beings in life. It is the same God who giveth that also taketh at the appointed time”, the state APC chairman sermonised.
