Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has returned to Nigeria alongside her husband, Tanzanian musician Juma Jux, and their newborn son, Rakeem.

Their arrival was met with a grand celebration hosted by Iyabo Ojo, featuring vibrant traditional drumming, singing, and dancing.

In a heartwarming video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk”, friends and family gathered to surprise the couple.

An emotional Priscilla appeared visibly moved as she stepped into the festive scene, while Juma Jux proudly carried baby Rakeem in his arms.

Joining the joyous moment was entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu (a.k.a. Chioma GoodHair), who commented under the post, “My prince is here.” She also shared on her Instagram story.

“Priscilla called me in America and said, ‘Godmama, I’m bringing your godson to you in Lagos,’ and I said yes!”

This homecoming follows an elaborate 40-day celebration and naming ceremony held in Tanzania earlier this month. The couple, full of joy, welcomed guests as Juma danced to the rhythm of traditional drums.

Priscilla also posted clips from their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria, expressing appreciation to her mother and godmother.
“Rakeem is lucky. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.

According to PUNCH Online, Priscilla gave birth to baby Rakeem on August 24, 2025, in Canada. Afterward, the family traveled to Tanzania for their first major celebration before this warm Lagos reception.

The occasion marks baby Rakeem’s very first visit to Nigeria—welcomed with music, love, and the embrace of family.
